Take your favorite villain or hero and reverse their roles in life. Heroes become villains and villains become heroes. Now the rules: All you can use is their name and powers if any. You have to come up with a whole new look to go with that name. So what would the Joker look like if he was the hero and Batman was the villain as an example. You can do only one character or do both the hero and his/hers arch nemesis. Have fun.

And as Force says, and I agree the date below is what we say but some how we never meet the deadline.

okay. im onboard..but i have a couple of 'for instances'. is it okay to change a character's name [slightly] to better fit his/her new persona. admitedly some heroes have names that just dont give the impression of villainy no matter what they look like..i.e. Captain America, Mr. Sinister, Dr. Doom. Mr. Terrific [not that i think anyone will use him. lol] you get the picture.

I understand and as long as you can still know who the character is based on I don't see why not. I did a take off of Captain America once but his name was Captain Soviet, you still knew who he was based on.

Thanks Capt. I have had problems with this damn computer and so I'm glad you got this thread started. This one should be fun to do, really let's the artist be creative.

I actually completely forgot about this d/o, but just got an idea for it this week so I'll get one in if I can.

This computer is still having fits. If I don't seem to be here often it's because this computer takes 15 minutes to "load" before I can even get to a web browser and then it freezes sometimes. Hopefully some day soon I will replace this heap, but I just wanted you all to know I'm not ditching you guys, and I'll try to get here as best I can and comment on everyones pics.

I'm trying to figure out my entry, I know who I'm doing but how to do them has been a challenge for me. No it's not IronMan. lol

All we have is 2 entries thus far? Sheesh. Dave, where are you with your 10 pics? lol. Come on guys, we haven't had a poor showing like this in ages. Remember the deadline? It was the 20th of September. I know we don't usually meet our deadlines but we typically have more than 2 entries by this time.

I know I still have mine to submit, I'm just saying don't forget and try to post a little something.

Isn't it funny that the only two entered so far are a reverse Spider-Man and a reverse Green Goblin. I swear we didn't plan it that way.

Hey I finally have a chance to be in the top three... LOL

yeah great turn out but i WILL have mine done soon. The problem for me is I'm doing the FF and some of them have had evil alter egos. So I have to be creative here plus draw 4 characters and figure out how to get them all on the paper. Well I have to draw each one individually then scan them and edit them all into one pic.

Plus I wanted to do a Halloween pic, but time is running out....AND my computer sucks.

But perhaps the MD/O has run it's course.

I for one vote that it stays! - I think everyone gets caught up in other things from time to time but the draw off has always been a great contest and fun too.

Also, not to say that this one was a bad idea, no offense to Morgan, but reverse roles is pretty tough to make a new and fresh idea. You said it yourself Force with your idea of doing the FF, it's been done before. I even had a hard time before I came up with mine at the last minute. Perhaps everyone else here is just having the same degree of difficulty with this one?
